BABA VANGA
Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova (Baba Vanga, 1911–1996) was a blind Bulgarian mystic and healer who became famous in Eastern Europe for alleged clairvoyance; she advised ordinary people and was visited by many during the Cold War era. She left no known written record of her prophecies; after her death many predictions have been attributed to her—some supporters claim notable hits, while researchers and close associates say many attributions are fabricated or unverified.
